BikeE Reviews

  • BikeE RX Recumbent Bike

The BikeE RX uses the same frame as the FX but is tuned for road riding with modifications to the handlebars, gears & seat. The Sram 9 speed cassette and triple chainrings give you 27 speeds. This gear setup provides a good range of gears similar to the CT & AT’s 3×7 hub. The V-brakes…

  • BikeE FX Recumbent Bike

The BikeE FX uses the same frame as the RX tuned for off-road riding with modifications to the gears, seat & handlebars. It has 3″ of rear travel & 1 ½” of front travel to absorb a lot of the bumps found off road. Many customers like them because they make dirt roads pleasant.

  • BikeE E2 Recumbent Bike

BikeE’s E2 tandem allows you both to share the comfort of a recumbent. It’s two “sweet seats” are independently adjustable as are the rear handlebars. Like most BikeE’s the front handlebars can be adjusted up and down while the rear bars can also be adjusted front to back to properly fit your arm length.

The BikeE AT rear suspension recumbent design did not change from its inception to the companies’ demise. The AT was a BikeE with even more comfort due to its air-adjustable rear shock. On rough roads the rear shock’s 3″ of wheel travel was plenty. Properly set up you can even ride an AT down a…

BikeE recumbents went out of business in 2002 partly due to warranty recalls and partly because they were starting a new recumbent company, BIGHA. BikeE was one of the largest recumbent brands in the world when they closed. There are a lot of BikeE’s out there so we stock many parts to keep them on…
