TerraTrike no longer makes recumbent trikes with indirect steering like the Path or Cruiser models.
If you are interested in a trike with indirect steering take a look at the HP Velo Gekko or Ice Adventure
The TerraTrike Path was introduced by WizWheelz in the spring of 2008. It uses the same frame, steering geometry, seat and handlebars as the Cruiser and Tour. It is less expensive because it only has 3 speeds.

The WizWheelz Path is priced lower than the other TerraTrike models yet appears to have some specs and features resembling its predecessors (like the 4130 Chromoly steel frame). Painted in “Sunset Gold” it also comes with different boom sizes.
The Three Speed rear hub transmission means there is only one shifter (which can be mounted on either side of the trike) and the internal gears allow shifting whether you are pedaling or at a complete stop. In addition, the Path comes with independent dual disk brakes.
As the youngest member of the TerraTrike family, we look forward to seeing how the Path performs in comparison to its siblings.
Because it only has 3 speeds it will take more effort to climb a hill but should be fine on a rail-to-trail bike path.
In our experience, WizWheelz has been more reliable than average and they have honored the warranty without a hassle.
