Overall condition is reasonable. There is significant scratches on the right side steering linkage, where chain had rubbed (chain had been routed in correctly).
Trike has new cassette and new rear chain.
Trident says their original Chameleon Convertitrikes were a huge success, here is a great deal on one of them. A new Chameleon Version 2 retails for $6499.
The Chameleon Tandem Tadpole Trike can convert to a single tadpole trike.
The Frame is 4130 Chromoly Tubing. The booms, seat frames, and handlebars are aluminum. The booms are sandblasted before anodizing to give them a textured finish so they clamp better and scratch less.
The frame comes apart into three pieces (with 4 custom Trident couplers) to make it easier to transport and ship.
The Tandem Trike to Single Trike changeover can takes as little as 30 minutes. The rear brake is not used in the Single trike configuration.
Both pedal booms adjust to fit most riders.
Trident says the Captain can have an X Seam of up to 47”, and the Stoker up to 43”’.
